Alkalizing Explained

Our goal is to get back into balance. The pH balance. How? Proper hydration with high pH water.

Acid, most of us hear this word almost everyday. For example: acid reflux, acid in our stomach, acid (as in drugs), acidic/sour taste and so on. An acid is any ionic compound that releases a (H+) hydrogen ion in solution. Acid is like a donor of protons.

Acids typically have a sour taste, however, it is deceiving to say that lemons and limes are acidic just because they taste sour. When it comes to food we will only count how that food actually metabolizes in your system and I will show you how some foods that taste sour are actually alkaline once in our bodies.
